The Paloma Foundation will be the catalyst for leadership development among forsaken children devastated by tragedy, providing more than hope – a path and support to their calling.
Pillars of Success
All lives are supported conceptually by social pillars, which when strengthened and balanced, help us thrive. Poverty, war, civil unrest and other external threats weaken these pillars making peace, prosperity and growth difficult and seemingly impossible. The five pillars of leadership strengthened by
our mission are:
S. E. R. V. E.
Spiritual
Speaks one’s belief in not only a God greater than their challenges but an eternal life impacted by their current life. As a Christian organization, we seek to bring hope through Jesus Christ in action, not just words.
Emotional
The psyche/the spirit of the individual. It is where resiliency is strengthened and supports our path to overcome obstacles. Mentors/Life Coaches volunteer their time to offer guidance and emotional support so those we connect with know they are not alone in their journey.
Recreational
An active social interactive pillar. It’s speaks of how we interact with each other through activities whether it be sports or other active hobbies. Paloma volunteers set up touchpoints with current and potential leaders that strengthen skill sets focused on creative development.
Vocational
The pillar that allows us to become self-sustaining through our participation in the economy of life. The greater the vocational potential the greater the financial benefit to the individual and their community.
Educational
The pillar of intellect, which supports long-term opportunity and stability. Identified participants are supported in their education growth with scholarships that give them access to educational institutions and support.
